Mental Health: Be Confident in Supportive Conversations – 9th October (Face to Face Event)

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, WiN Southwest have organised an event in collaboration with Headtorch on the 9th October from 12pm-2pm. The impact of mental health in the workplace is significant and affects everyone, making it essential to engage in open discussions about the various potential consequences in a secure environment. During ‘Be Confident in Supportive Conversations,’ our speakers, Amy and Angus, will concentrate on developing the confidence and skills necessary to facilitate supportive conversations regarding mental health in professional environments. The event will also include practical activities centered on achieving work-life balance and enhancing energy levels within the workplace.

Headtorch is a team of experts in workplace mental health and wellbeing.  Their focus is on developing a healthy culture by raising awareness and developing skills and confidence that enable people to look after themselves and importantly, look out for and support their colleagues.  Headtorch believe that organisations thrive when individuals feel purposeful and successful at work – when everyone can flourish.

Venue: Babcock International Group Plc, Unit 100 Bristol Business Park, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS16 1EJ

Note: Lunch will be provided by our sponsors, please include your dietary requirements in the registration form.
