How would you measure something that lasts under a second?
Imagine a future where young minds are not just consumers of technology but creators of ground-breaking innovations that shape our world. Our STEM Outreach initiative is ready to make this vision a reality. We’re on a mission to inspire, educate, and create opportunities to cultivate the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators by creating opportunities for immersive and interactive programs that bring the complexities of defence nuclear to life. Through engaging workshops, hands-on experiences, and cutting-edge virtual reality simulations, we will empower students to explore the fascinating world of nuclear technology.
Eko, an abbreviation of Engagement, Knowledge, and Opportunities, promotes confidence, creativity, and careers in STEM and is an initiative led by the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Defence Nuclear Enterprise’ (DNE), which is the federation of organisations and arrangements that enables, maintains, and delivers the continuous at sea deterrent (CASD) and submarine forces.
Our mission extends beyond the classroom. We’re partnering with youth organisations, education workshops, STEM ambassadors and communities ensuring that STEM education is an enjoyable, dynamic, and accessible journey.
Eko inspires and promotes confidence, creativity, and careers in STEM fields for students, parents, carers, teachers, and those seeking a career change. In collaboration with partner organisations, schools, STEM ambassadors, and STEM communities, we facilitate STEM learning whilst providing unique insights into the captivating world of nuclear technology.
We strive to make STEM education accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that individuals can explore and excel in these fields.
Together, let’s cultivate a passion for STEM; a future where innovation knows no bounds.
